Good point. I have read Pollan’s followup book, which is welcome but I feel misses the point. He had a great opportunity to go deeper into the indigenous usages of the more popular psychedelics such as Psilocybin. I don’t feel like Peyote is nearly as accepted yet. The bigger question, to which I don’t have an answer, is what type of consulting (if any) Pollan is doing for the commercialization of psychedelics.
